College Librarians’ Association, Kerala (KCLA), established in 1969, has always aimed at upholding the spirit of library professionals and to improve library services with the changing demands of the information society. It also serves as a platform to discuss and bring out solutions to service requirements as well as technology competencies of college librarians. KCLA has been instrumental in conducting conferences and seminars and is well appreciated by the academic community.The vision of KCLA is to bring all the librarians working in different cadres into a common platform to augment the status of the divine profession.
Nehru Arts and Science College, Kanhangad
Nehru Arts and Science College Kanhangad, affiliated to Kannur university, established in 1968, aims at serving the educational requirements of the students of Kerala. The institution always takes utmost interest to academic and extracurricular activities of community and the college is working for the benefit of the society with a motto “JNANAM VIJNANA SAHITHAM.”
Kerala State Higher Education Council
Kerala State Higher Education Council is an advisory body to the Government of Kerala, in higher education. It also acts as a state level coordinating agency for higher educational activities. It came into existence in 2007 by Kerala State Higher Education Council Act (No.22) passed by the State Legislature.
